Community Involvement
Monster Ball at Art Central:
This will be the third year that Creative Edge has volunteered to create the haunting floral decor for the Halloween Monster Ball at Art Central. All proceeds go to Studio C which is a gallery and studio space located on the lower level of Art Central. Studio C is a unique integrated Community Art and Resource Centre – a venue where artists with and without disabilities achieve collaboration, inspiration and immersion within Calgary’s art community. (URSA) Universal Rehabilitation Service Agency Greenhouse Project: Creative Edge Flowers teamed up with URSA and created a greenhouse at their Easy Street rehabilitation center. The greenhouse is used by URSA clients as a meditative space to relax and nurture living plants. Every week Creative Edge donates flowers for the floral design class at URSA.
